for Connecticut Laborers' Union Members
Welcome to Connecticut Laborers' Legal Services
The Connecticut Laborers’ Legal Service Fund is a non-profit, employer funded entity that provides legal representation and advice to eligible members of the Connecticut Laborers’ Union.
If you are a member of the Connecticut Laborers’ Union, you are eligible for our services if you have worked 160 hours in covered employment within the past 10 months.
If you need the advice of an attorney, or representation in a legal matter, call our office to find out if you are eligible for our assistance.
Times are tough, and many Laborers have found it difficult, or impossible, to stay current on their mortgage obligations. If you have been served with notice of a foreclosure, you should have legal representation, and you should call us immediately!
The downturn in the economy has a bright side for Laborers, too. Interest rates are lower than they’ve ever been, and there are many opportunities to refinance your existing mortgage debt to a lower rate, or to a shorter term, and so improve your financial picture. Learn more
